I have two portals: Portal "A" and portal "B". I copied portal "A" to a new instance, Portal "B", to redesign skin and functionality. The new portal Portal "B" is ready.

But Portal "A" has a forum module, and since the copy, new posts have been made on the forum on Portal "A".  How do I get the new posts and threads to Portal "B"?

Thanks for any assistance.

Chris

BTW...both portals have the same users.
Both portals are on DNN 6.02.04.
Both portals use Forums 5.0.3

Thanks.

I don't think you should. From my perspective A is your live site and B is your developemnt area.

Now you have tested your new skin and functionality in B you should package those elements and install them in A.

If you have full access to both computers then you can probably do that more simply than the full package creation/install process.

Richard, I do not know how to package elements. I am a designer by trade. Can build with DNN, but not a developer. Any suggestions?

Check out Joe Brinkmans tutorial on skins - he covers packaging.
