Hi,

I have just been alerted to the fact that forum users can view the Portal folders / files and numbered user folders when attempting to upload images in response to posts or in starting new threads on the forum. It appears that they can also navigate and delete folders/files under /Portals/0/. Is it possible to stop this from happening or restrict the forum in some way to stop users accessing the portal folder structure.

Any advice in this area and what areas/flags to change would be very welcome.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Mark.

Mark,

what permissions do they have on the folders? I think that this is corresponding, so they can only load files from Folders where they have "Open files in folder" permissions, see folders where they have "Browse files in folder" permissions and delete/write files/folders where they have "Write to folder" permissions. Please check.

If this is not the case, please report this in Gemini (http://support.dotnetnuke.com).

Best wishes
Michael
