The file explorer that opens in the browser indicates there are no files -- but when I look via the Win7 OS file explorer there are several folders and hundreds of files. Here is a screenshot.

If I try to drag and drop the images on the settings page, the page remains hung-up after I click update.  This also happens on a DNN5 site which makes me want to restart my computer to see if its a local issue.

I tried editing the host settings via IE9 and Chrome.  Both browsers behave the same when when trying to upload a logo and favicon via admin settings.

You may want to consider upgrading since you're on such an old version of DNN. I know that doesn't explain your issue but it'll be very difficult getting support on version 5.

If you do go that route, be sure to upgrade locally and regression test the site.

It turned out to be a local PC issue.  This odd issue occured in both DNN5 and the new DNN7 site I'm building.  After a restart of my PC the view issue was elimnated.
