Hi, As I've just upgraded from DNN Community Edition 5.03.01 to current, I have another question while testing my site with the new upgrade:

It seems the default page for the site is different than it was before. I notice that the  Portal Alias for the main portal now has a Default Alias setting and a Mapping Mode. But when I make changes to this, I don't see a change to the default page that comes up when I browse to the top level of the site.

 Do you know how to change the default page of a portal (the first page that comes up when I browse http://localhost/sitename/) I tried changing Homeopage and Splash page as well, to no avail.

That should have done it; sure there are no external settings at work here? (In IIS for example?)

I would also undo the changes (if any) you made to the default alias and mapping modes, that should be left alone for now as out of the box they should work.

Thanks. Do you mean that the Homepage change should have fixed it? I'm looking in IIS but don't find anything..

I got it. Default Doc in IIS need to be moved up the list.
