Hello everyone,

I'm new to DNN. The company I work for uses DNN for their website. I have been asked to create a new portal on our website. I was able to set up the new portal and create users and everything. I'm trying to spruce up the new portal with images and I copied a bunch of image files (jpegs, gifs, pngs, etc) directly to the portal's root folder on our web server. By the way, we are running DNN version 05.05.01 on an IIS 7 server Windows 2008 R2. I quickly learned that I have to synchronize the files with recursive checked on File manager for the image files to be accessible on DNN. Now, the issue I'm having is when I add the images to any kind of module, they show up as a red X. My DNN knowledge is very poor and I don't understand why this is happening. Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks!!!

Hi
Try putting the images in the images folder on the portal's root folder and access it in your module with required path like ~/images/filename.extension

Thanks,
