" A critical error has occurred. Cannot open database "myOtherDbName" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'IIS APPPOOL\dnndev.me'. "

Thanks

You will want to setup either a connection string for the second database, or assign the application pool's account the ability to access that database.

Like Chris stated, use credentials from the other database in your connection string and that should solve your problem.

Hi Chris,

Thank you very much for your quick respond.

The soloution was, like you said, access permitions on 'myOtherDbName'.

But now, I am getting the following error:
A critical error has occurred. Invalid object name 'dbo.people'.

It is really strange, since my table name is 'peoples', not 'people'. and anywhere in my code, it says 'peoples', not people.

Also, I want to debug the new moudle that I created, but it says the page cannot be run in debug mode.

Can you please advise?

Thank you,
Avihai.

For debug, check the web.config file to make sure debug is enabled
