Hi I am using the documents module in several areas, I really like this module but want to filter one of my usages by a category list.
I noticed there is an option to use a list in the action setting of the module,  so I created a new category list, saved some documents with a category setting and viewed

I was expecting to see a list box, dropdown or some mechanism to appear so I can filter by my categories??.

Does this module do that and if so How?

Regards Stuart

stuart,
You may want to use the Form & List module instead of Documents module.
You can use a Lookup column [File:Size] to display the filesizes (in bytes...assuming a column name of File).
You'd have to do some custom XSLT to get a dropdown filter for Categories.

I had a look at the demo and the particular demo  I wanted was not working so I was unable to determine just what it does.

easiest would be to download Form And List module from dnnfnl.codeplex.com, install it and put it on a page. try to set it up as you like, further samples might be found at http://www.formandlist.com/
