Hi all and thanks for taking the time to read this. I took over a website for my community,  knowing some webpage design.  I was asked to make it so that you don't have to type in the www. to get to the website.

Here is where I messed up:

I was in portal aliases and I set the page to mlcaweb.com. now when I type in www.mlcaweb.com or mlcaweb.com I cant access the site It redirects me to II7s windows site. Does anyone know how I can get back into site to fix this? I would appreciate any advice1

you may edit the value direct in the database, table "portalalias". you need to restart the application (e.g. by saving web.config file), for database changes become effective.

This sounds to me like you need to add mlcaweb.com as a binding for the site in IIS. Do that, and I think you'll be all set.

Hi,

You can add mlcaweb.com as another binding to your website in IIS. It will solve your problem.

Thanks,
