My host is powerdnn.com.  When I try to add a site I get [ Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\utahhousevalues.com\httpdocs\Portals\_default\Blank Website.template.en-US.resx' is denied."

How do I add a subdomain that will act as its own site?

Hi,

To add a sub domain to dotnetnuke site is easy. If already client portal gets added then we can edit the portal and add a subdomain as another portal alias. Also we can add subdomain directly as a parent portal. Then we need to add a same subdomain name in the domain provider control panel and point to the same folder to which main domain is pointing.

You can refer to below link:

Thank you for the links but I think the new control panel in DNN 7 is different than the tutorials I can find.  I'm also looking for a tutorial that explains how to do this on a shared hosting plan.
