7.0.x

Click Login
enter un/pw
click Enter immediately followed by click Login.

You will get a server error which will probably scare off most of your customers.

Here is a related issue:

Would someone please log this....

Hi,

I have tried this but didn't reproduce this issue. BTW you can try Data Springs dynamic registration module.

Thanks,

It is a problem with most of the pop up dialogs. There is no indication that the system is working and, if response is slow, users are tempted to click again.

Try this. Click towards the left of the Login button, IMMEDIATELY move the mouse towards the right and click again.

You MUST move the mouse far enough for the system not to think you want a double click, AND you must be fast enough that the site does not have time to respond.

you may turn off popups in Admin > Site Settings, setting usability settings.

Hi Sebastian,

Whilst that's true, and a valuable last resort, it's hardly a great selling point.

"Hey we have this great UI feature but you have to turn it off. It can only be used by experts. Ordinary users can get confused into thinking that the system is broken."

Best wishes,
