Using DNN to build an intranet/document serving system.  We wanted to use an existing LDAP directory to authenticate users (which is what the system that DNN is replacing currently does).  Its not Active Directory, its actually OpenLDAP.

Is this possible?  Has it been done already? I see that DNN 4 has the AD module built in, but I wasnt sure if that will work with an LDAP setup other than AD.  Ive read about possibly having to implement my own provider, but Id be surprised if it hasnt been done already.

Thanks in advance!

I'm also interested in this. The client I work for uses Novell LDAP as a standard. I'm wondering if the built in ADSI Provider can be used or does a different provider have to be created. If you require a different provider has someone built one for Novell? Is one for sale anywhere?

Thanks,

Lee
