Hi everyone,

In many of my older skins (VB) I could use <%= PortalSettings.ActiveTab.BreadCrumbs(0).Title %> to display that nav-branch title.

But now I have a new C# based skin and the above code doesn't work. I get a "cannot be used like a method." error.

How can I make this work again?

Thank you,
CD

The C# translation would be

PortalSettings.ActiveTab.BreadCrumbs[0].Title

Thank you Sir,

Im at DNN 6.1
I'm editing my ascx file in notepad, my code now reads..
<%= PortalSettings.ActiveTab.BreadCrumbs[0].Title %>

Using [] instead of () changed things, but the error now reads "object does not contain a definition for Title".
I peeked in BreadCrumb.ascx.cs and do not see a method/property(?) for Title.

Thank you for you help.

Accepted Answer

OK I "think" I have it. The following seems to work..

<%= ((DotNetNuke.Entities.Tabs.TabInfo)PortalSettings.ActiveTab.BreadCrumbs[0]).Title %>

Is there a better way?
