Hello !

I have searched for the problem on this forum and I found no solution. I am the administrator of a few websites that are using DNN platform on GoDaddy. For some reason yesterday javascript became disabled. How to proceed in order to activate the javascript ?

I want to mention the fact that when I have added a new domain to the Hosted Domains, a section on GoDaddy management application, when modifying the path the system gave me this error:

Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.HttpModules' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.HttpModules' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Source Error:

An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.

Assembly Load Trace: The following information can be helpful to determine why the assembly 'DotNetNuke.HttpModules' could not be loaded.

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

I am going to give you a two part answer here. 1.) Get away from GoDaddy.....I've never seen anything good with GoDaddy. 2.) It sound like from the error that you have missing files. Validate that they didn't move you to a new server without telling you. (They like to do that.)

I second that. Godaddy may be a good registrar but they are terrible with DNN hosting.

Hello Bogdan,
I just started having the same problem and was wondering if you were able to resolve your issue?
Thanks,

Thanks for your answers.

@Emre: I haven't solved the problem yet. I'm still figuring out what was the cause of the problem.
