Hi, I'm updating DisplayName using UserController.UpdateUser method, see below:

var user = (authType == "DNN") ? GetUserByUserName(portalId, username) : GetUserByAuthToken(portalId, username, authType);
user.DisplayName = "MyNewDisplayName";
UserController.UpdateUser(portalId, user);

The problem is that the DisplayName is not updated!

The same code on DNN5 work fine!

Any help about?

your code works fine, and should still work in DNN 7
Are you able to update the display name trough the core user profile?

This is the strange thing, through the core user profile I'm able to update it, through my code no!
