The new version of SigmaLive 3.0.2 BETA has been published to the Member Downloads for OnyakTech Subscribers on www.OnyakTech.com.  This version of SigmaLive contains all of the final features for the 3.0.x release except for a few localization and documentation.   The remaining changes and updated user manual will be published later this week.

SigmaLive 3.0.x is LOADED with new features and it's awesome to have it up on OnyakTech.com. Not only does it use newer technology but it also has major improvements to help collect leads, helps you to be more proactive helping customers and major improvements in user experience and user friendliness.

Here is a list of a few of the major features:

  • Visitors are now notified of when your typing to them
  • Global Responses: Responses are now controlled from the SigmaLive PopUp module allowing you to enter once and use everywhere.  Creating a response with a URL will make it visible when sending links to users during chat.
  • Upload Files during Chat: You and your users can now transfer files within the chat.  Option must be enabled and file restrictions are controlled from the DotNetNuke Host Settings.
  • Collection Custom Information before Chat Session:  You can now create custom questions to ask users before the chat session begins.  This information is displayed to you in the Windows client and stored with the chat session for reporting (and collection of leads).
  • Company ID has been renamed to "Group ID".
  • Account ID has been renamed to "Group Key".
  • Users can now start chatting before you accept the chat.  This allows the user to provide information to you while they wait for you to accept.
  • In the Windows client on the Call Grid, calls are now highlighted in red if there is a new message from a user.  This will make it easier to identify chat sessions that require your attention when chatting with multiple users at the same time.
  • The total minutes each user has been in chat is now displayed in the Call Grid.
  • You can now send users links in chat using a more user friendly approach.
  • There is a new Groups Manager where you can view all active operators/agents.  There is also an option to force them all off-line if an agents status is corrupt from a power outage or network issues.
  • You can now change the subject of the Offline Email Message
  • and many other features including a new user interface.
OnyakTech Subscribers can download this new version now from the Members Area on www.OnyakTech.com
