Specifically the DNNForge - NewsArticles, DNNForge - LatestArticles, DNNForge - NewsArchives modules.

We've currently moved from an in-house server to an external host which allowed us to upgrade from 5.6.x to 7. There are several modules we used with 5.6 that I'd love to copy to the new server but, with the exception of one module, I've been quite unsuccessful. I no longer have access to the original zip files which, of course, contained the manifest files and I think I'll die if I have to go back and create them by hand.

If anyone has some guidance for a module-movin noob I'd appreciate all the help I can get :)

I don't understand your issue. Normally, if you upgrade, all modules are retained. Or did you create the new site from scratch?

At any rate, it would be best to just purchase the latest versions of those modules. Since the ones that you used, the latest versions offer much more features. You can buy them here: www.ventrian.com. (subscription based site)

Thanks for that Erik -

I figured that was probably going to be the solution offered and I spose we'll just have to suck up re-buying the module...

Our current 5.6.x installation has so many "patches" and "bandaids" that I don't trust any of it enough to try to migrate it to our new host - this is a brand new install and I'm copying page by page, module by module. We had been using a couple of different third parties to help administer our sites but it got way out of control and now we know with our new host we're moving ahead with stable modules and content.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love DNN7??
