Active directory Provider:5.0.5
Windows server 2008 R2


I have two problems with Active Directory provider.

1) I am using Active directory provider. If i open the URL it takes my Windows Credentials and it logs me in but after certain hours it logs me out though i am not cliking log out button. I want strict windows authentciation and all the users who are part of Active directory should be logged in with their Windows Credentials when they open URL anytime. They shouldn't be getting login option. How can i achive this thing? please help me.

2) Another issue is If i create DNN Role which is same as Active Directory Group Name(e.g. Active Directory Group name:- Group1 , DNN Role name:- Group1) it doesn't sync for example if User1,User2 are part of Active Directory Group Group1 ,DNN Role Group1 has access to 5 pages. When User1 opens the URL for my portal i dont see Group1 Role Assigend to User1 and User1 Doesn't have access to 5 pages.


Please help me to achive these two things. Any help is appriciated

1) I am not sure about hours(but approximately 5 to 6 hours). I am using FckHtmlEditorProvider. Please let me know if there is any issue using this Htmlprovider and because of this editor if it logs me out.

I have production website working fine with Windows Authentication on another server.
Dotnetnuke version : 5.2.3
IIS version 5.0
No active directory provider.
but still it works with windows authentication. Whenever user opens the URL it takes Windows credentials and logged in.

We have new server on which i am trying to setup website with latest dotnetnuke version 7.0.6.

For this new server configuration is as follows.
Windows server 2008R2
IIS 7.5
Active directory provider 5.0.5
