hi, i need to display a textbox to update/insert one user profile field on a DNN site rather than sending the user to the profile page itself... is there a way to do this with a SQL command?

Thanks,
Oliver

You can create a module and use the DNN API to update any user field.

Check out this post:

I didn't like the default user profile and registration pages in DNN and created my own.

Hi, thanks you for the reply - I was trying to do this without programming.

I have a DNN module that allows me to pass a parameter to a stored procedure (e.g. the user first name from the textbox)
I was just wondering if anyone has done this using SQL rather than custom programming.
It is a few years ago that I did my last DNN programming - (almost ;-) no need for it anymore...

Thanks,
Olvier
