Hi,

Is there a certain way to set up the Apollo.MLLanguageSelector after your pages have already been set up with the Core Language module that comes with DNN 6.2.2?

The Apollo module doesn't seem to change the content or the breadcrumbs of my pages, just the menu items. I'm not sure if it's a bug with Apollo or something that I need to do to get it to work. Do I need to reset the languages or re-publish my pages or something to that effect? I've been on this for 2 weeks and I can't seem to find a solution.

Thanks

Apollo uses its own MLBreadcrumbs skin object, but there should be no issue with pages from DNN Core localization, because all localized pages have individual names.

My pages all work with the core language module but when I install the MLLanguageSelector as a skin object, my menu items change but not the content. My page's tabID is the english one but only the language parameter changes to language=fr-CA. How can I get it to change the tabID to the french side?

Thanks

this sounds like an issue of MLLanguageSelector and core localization. I fear you might have to use core language selector instead.

OK, found a solution, I'll post it in case there are others who are as frustrated as I was. Seeing as my client didn't want to show flags and they didn't want to see the Country name as part of the selector...I reverted my language module to show flags and I created 3 plain images with the words "English", "Français" and "Español" and I named them en-US.gif, fr-CA.gif and es-MX.gif and I overwrote the existing flag images and it does the job. Bit of a hack but there doesn't seem to be any other way to achieve this.
