Another thing:
The items that I have entered in the F&L show up in my search results, when using the search-functionality in the website.
Does that mean the indexing should be ok?

Joost,

a search index corruption is not that visible. There is no danger to delte the records from the table as described in the link above. After this you just have to clear the cache, restart the AppPool and wait until the search index is rebuild, and then it should work.

The other thing: Yes, that's what it means. And after this, the RSS feed should show items as well.

Best wishes
Michael

Ehmm, maybe you misunderstood my poor English, but I meant that the items actually dó appear in the search results. So it seems there's nothing wrong with the search index.

But, the RSS-Feed still doesn't show any items. I should receive the RSS-updates in my mail, but there is only one mail there. This mail shows the first post in the F&L, with a link to the page for the full article.
I've added new items, and edited this first one, but I don't get any new mails.

Joost,

in the F&L settings, there are triggers you can set when an email should be generated (create/update/delete). Have you set these triggers, and did you set up the sender, recipient etc. properly? Did you also enter the message text(s) for notifying, creating, editing and deleting? And have you checked your spam filter for the missing mails?

What is the question now? Email notification or RSS?

Best wishes
Michael

Well, maybe my interpretation of RSS is totally wrong, sorry if that is the case.
I've tried the e-mail notification as well, this works perfectly. Each time I add a new item to the F&L, a message is sent to the sender entered (myself).

But RSS is something different, I thought. You can subsribe to the RSS by clicking the RSS-button, and then you should receive messages in your RSS-'channel' (what is it?), if any new updates have appeared. My RSS-updates should appear in my Outlook-'mail', in a section where I receive RSS-messages. They look like mails, but I don't know if they really are.
The problem is that this messagebox holds only one initial item. The first post in the F&L with a link to the full article on the website. No updates are given here, no RSS-updates.

I'm very sorry If I'm not able to explain it good enough.
