Web Server (Win 2012)
SQL Server (SQL Server 2008 R2)

I have install and configured the ActiveDirectory_05.00.05_Install module without any problems. but when i navigate to the site i get the windows login screen and it fills in the domain\username, but when i put in the password and hit return i

"HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized"

Thanks for the help..

When you say you get the Windows login screen I assume you mean the IIS Popup? Have you tried using impersonation in your web.config? How to do it is explained in the documentation (http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com/documen...).

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the quick reply, sorry for not replying earlier was moved to another project.
Anyway I have tried what you asked and that didnt make any difference and yes it was the iis popup.

I enabled Anonymous and Windows in IIS and now i can navigate to the DNN site and when i click on the login link i get two tabs (Standard and Windows Login).

I can login using my windows credentails, so the problem is half resolved.
Now it would be good if i can auto login the windows users.

Do i have to config the IIS 8? the guide dosnt include any steps for IIS 8
