I followed a guide to create my own login (myAuth) and installed it in Authentication Services.
I see it there and went to Admin > extensions > myAuth and enabled it and disabled the default one.

how do I add it to a page and/or have it replace out the default login.
when I added a new page and select modules to add it is not listed.
I also don't see anywhere I can tell the built in login to be mine instead of the default one.

you may add security module or just use login link in skin to display default login module, which will incorporate your authentication provider.
