We're biulding a new site using DNN7, and we purchased a theme as a starting point that came with the DNNGo xBlog module.

It turns out that articles in this module are invisible to the DNN site search box. I'm not even sure Google will be able to find them. This is unacceptable for us. Is there a way we can expand the DNN search to see these articles? If not, is there an alternative blog modules for DNN7 we can use that does integrate with the site search?

If we have to use a different module entirely, one feature we were hoping to use with xBlog was the ability to automatically feature a few recent items (abstract plus picture) in a nice widget on the front page. Is there another way to support this (say, an rss view to show the same kind of thing)?

google does use a different method of indexing than site search and should be able to index all content, if there is a link to it.
Site search requires a specific interface being implemented, please contact support of the manufacturer, whether this feature is included.
