I have the following setup:

An update with some information:

The website is running on sql2005.
Based on the eventlog entries i searched the microsoft Kb and found the
following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;913384&sd=rss&sp
After contacting microsoft-support, I received the hotfix mentioned
there. The hotfix won't install on  win2003x64. Wrong version is the
message displayed by the installer microsoft support could not help me any further. Microsoft mentioned the problem could probably be fixed within Dotnetnuke.

Am i the only one having this problem with this setup ?
Anyone know how to solve this ?

So i've done some further testing, exported the database & imported it to an 32-bit windows 2003, copied the dotnetnuke website, and everything works like a charm. (wrong login gives the error page and the possibility to re-enter credentials.)

I have 1 person with the same setup who has the same problem in x64 and 1 who claims she does not have a problem. (did you do al clean install of the lastest version, do you use win 2003 x64 /sql2005 or sbs 2003 x64 like your sig says, some more info could help..)

Is there anyone who knows a solution ?
