Hi, i tried to put a Home icon (both Small and Large icon)  on the Home page instead of the text 'Home', but it dosnt show up. Whats wrong?

I tried it on the Gravity and FutureGravity skins.

Ha, this is really weird!

In the SimpleTokens.txt i tried this, which should be pure logic .
If the Page Icon is defined, insert it !

[?ENABLED]
{a href="[=URL]"} [?ICON] {img alt="" src="[=ICON]"} {/img} [/?] [=TEXT] {/a}
[?ELSE]
{span} [=TEXT] {/span}
[/?]

(replace {} with <>)

It does NOT work, there is no icon. So i tried to write this [?!ICON] (if the Page Icon is NOT defined) instead, and HURRAHHH, i got an Icon!!!

But the rest of the menu is blank, only a href is created, no [TEXT]!!

Im i crazy??? :-D

Do you have a multilanguage site? I've experienced weird results with the page icon (and site logo) which led me to abandon these altogether and just use images in html modules.
I'm just not able to set them properly for both languages.

I've had the issue that when creating a single language site on my multilanguage host, and setting favicon, site logo and page icon for that single language, I saw only the site logo, while using a browser set to the other locate (on a single language site!!), showed the favicon, but *not* the site logo. I have not been able to fix this. (On a multilanguage site, I just switch languages, set favicon and site logo again and repeat until fixed.)
The page icon just doesn't stick. On every new page the icon is missing, while the settings show it is set. Just saving the settings (without making any change) fixes it.

Maybe my problem is that my base language is Dutch and I added English later on, which might not be anticipated. I don't know. I abandoned the site logo and site icon settings as they were driving me crazy.

Hi, no i have Danish as default language.

I tried a lot of more or less crazy coding and nothing worked as i wanted it.

The task is simple: If there is defined an icon for a specific page then show that and hide the page name. Else show the page name.

I just give up and will go to hardcode it in the ascx skin files :-(

Did you ever find a solution for it? I'm running in the exact same issue now. All I can find on it are topics with the same problem.

It's not the language of the site that is the problem as when I use the ICON without the test, the url is printed.

So the test is malfuntioning, of this is not the way to test.

BTW. I never got the issue that there is no text.
