Hi,

I have a customer site that will not allow me to add anything but the HTML module to existing pages.  In the modules tool, I can change the Category dropdown to All Categories, but the only module shown in the Modules drop down remains as HTML.

This behaviour appears to be consistent for all pages in the site.  I added a new Temp page, to the site.  On that page I could get All Categories to show other modules and add them to the temp page.  I can even then move them to (other) existing pages in the site.

Any suggestions for what I am doing wrong?  Permissions look fine (this site only has the host account) and I am not aware of a permission based way of preventing modules being added.  It's not browser dependent (Chrome, FF and IE all show the behavior).

DNN 06.02.05 - I can provide access to my staging copy of the site if anyone would like a look.  Ask privately at richard@dynamisys.co.uk

Best wishes,

this sounds really strange. did you restart application and retry? Otherwise it sounds like a permission issue, please check deploy permissions in Admin > Extensions for the modules, you would like to use and check the group assignment in Host > Extensions for the module definitions.
