I recently upgraded two portals to 07.01.00.  In both of them the administrator cannot edit users in the Admin | User Accounts page.

I see the Delete Icon (bin) but no Pencil Icon (Edit), and no Roles Icon.  If I log in as host the pencil icon is displayed as is the Roles icon.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Has anyone got a workaround?

Best wishes,

I heard from similar issues in the german usergroup. Personaly I didn't running into this issue yet. My upgraded Portals on 7.1 work as aspected. Perhaps this could be an issue on upgrading the database on any procedures.

Got you any additiional error messahes in the DNN Event Viewer?

I am completely obsessive about making sure the upgrades run clean. No messages in the upgrade logs, nothing in the event viewer.

I'm not sure what is causing the issue but I've ran into it myself. I was able to fix it by using my SuperUser account to log in, and go the Manage Users page and just going into the Module settings for the users module (not page settings) and clicking Update.

I also had to do the same for Manage Roles page.

The funny thing is that the DNN installation I was using has about 40 portals in it but the issue only appeared on 2 portals.

Anyway, hopefully going into the module settings and hitting update fixes the issue for you.

I noticed it myself in DNN 7.1.0, but it was fixed after upgrading to 7.1.1
