multilungual websites are only supported in DNN 7.1.0 and up, sorry. I suggest upgrading prior to export and import.

Ehmm, with bilangual I mean that I've used the Content Localization functionality, which is in 5.6.3.
I'm doing this export - import as I want to perform the upgrade first on a server on which I have more rights (as I am sure that upgrading will give me quite a few problems as well).

So I'd like to solve this problem first... any other suggestions? What does this error-message mean?

Export and Import has known issues on sites with "Content Localization" enabled in DNN prior to version 7.1.0.
You might consider upgrading first.

to create a local copy of your DNN, add your local site address as website alias in Admin > Site Settings.
Next copy all files and database and setup database and IIS website properly on your local machine.
adjust both connection strings in web.config to meet new database location.
Now you got a clone with identical settings and all users, you may use for testing.

Sebastian Leupold

Ok, thanks.
The 'suggested upgrade path' goes in three steps from 5.6.3 to 7.0.
7.1 is not mentioned yet.
Should I take 7.1 directly instead of 7.0? Or aan extra step.
Does 7.1 really has fixes for langualization above 7.0?
We'd like to use a version that is allready around quite some time.
