Hi all,

I am having a small issue which I cant find the answer to. Originally when I set up DNN I used and email address lets call it old@email.com, I since have a new email address 'new@email.com'. I have changed the address to the new one in host>host settings>host details, but whenever a new user signs up to any of my portals the email still says it is coming from old@email.com. Am I missing something here?

Thanks

Charles

Hi
You need to have set the SMTP server setting for this. Typically this is the email address from where all messages sent from DNN.

Thanks,

Thanks Sunil,

That didn't quite work, but if anyone is interested apparently the email is displayed as 'sent from' the email address that is registered to the administrator that created the portal. I updated the administrators email address and all emails now are showing the correct address

I am not so sure about the matter at your end, but usual behavior is like mail will be sent from the email address set on the SMTP settings, and all notifications like user registration and other will be made to the email address set on the Host>Host Settings>Host Details>Host Email field.

Thanks,
