Here's the thing, I've seen these sites converted to DNN - they often have so much superfluous code in there and the menus are chunky and heavy and to convert any skin to html is really a PITA.
Rather than looking on these forums, I'd bee looking on snow and asking for a quote from the skin designers who advertise they do this sort of work.
There are two ways to do this - one is from scratch building up the skin in a correctly formatted clean structure, which no one wants to pay for, or the quick and dirty way of converting the html files and you'll find there is often left of not needed bulky bloated code which is quite horrible to work with, specially when logged in.
Generally when you buy these templates, they are not empty, or they are wordpress or joomla themes with php code embedded, or they have a structure that is not of DNN best practices. So you have to work with the PSD file which often is really messy and full of hundreds of ridiculous layers.
This is really the summary of working in this space and I know some bootstrap templates for sale would have been months in progress to get right and have an investment of time in them that is returned by having them for sale on the store.
We had thought of doing more with skins, afterall I've got over 100,00 subscribers on dnnskins, but DNN is not a pushover to skin, although I think it's one of the most diverse and creative CMS's to work with, I think you'll find that most of these quote so convert html to dnn is around 500 > 1,000.00.
I asked my guy about it this morning and he looked at it and said "what does he want" to which I said a skin done, and he said "yeah but what about all the fine tuning stuff and content, is it the same?" so he was unable to give much idea either.
BTW - your website goes to a plesk control panel - you moving over to the dark side?
