Dear All,

I'm unable to add a module to a pane in the page. When I tried to drag the HTML module to a pane in the page, the page refreshes and redirects to the home page [AWESOME CYCLES] Sample.

Can anyone please guide me on this regards?

I have no issue to Drag and Drop a module into a pane.  Sometimes if a System have low recources it took a time between you can drop it into the pane, if the System is allright to drop the module you got a Background Change.  Please check what are your jQuery Settings on host Settings, and be sure you are using the library that is shiped with DNN!   Check if your 3rd party  Skin is used own jQuery and jQueryUI libery, if yes ask the vendor for an upgrade that is compatible with the DNN Version you are using.

Check IIS Handler Settings and be sure you are set permissions to execute scripts and executables!  Check your physical permissions and ist inherietation to all subfolders and files.

Before you place a module to a pane be sure you changed into the page edit mode!

Did you review the Event Log?  You may find , as I have several times, that you are exceeding the permitted size of the database.  You can reduce the size of your database by truncating several tables in the database, such as the event log.  Search the Forum for references to  database truncate for a listing of tables that are safe to truncate.

Hans

you may also click position icon in module icon and choose target pane from ddl.
Another option would be using default skin, container and control panel.
