I noticed that I haven't gotten any e-mail notifications from the DNN website in the last couple of days.  When I go to "My Settings", to check my subscriptions, it gives me:

An error has occurred.
Error: User Settings is currently unavailable.

mySettings work for me.

Email notification has been temporarily stopped for all users due to security issues of the new Forums version.

MySettings seemed to work fine for me just now.

*Without* going into the why/what's the impact/when will it be fixed, can we just ask whether we should do the same (i.e., disable notifications) if we are deploying this on a public site? Presumably so, but maybe there is something specific to this instance, running on dotnetnuke that makes it an issue just on this site. Thx!

So what is the status of this?  I see the settings are working now, and I can get notifications on individual threads.
