Hi

I installed a DNN portal with spanish as its language.  But my site now has "es-es" in its url.

example:  www.localhost/es-es/home.aspx.

I only want it to be  www.localhost/home.aspx  but using the spanish as its language.

Please help

Go to Admin and open Languages, go to Settings tab and disable the 'Enable Language Parameter in URLs?' Checkbox.

If you enable only 1 language in Admin / Languages then the language is not added to the url.

Hi Matthias

I have a similar problem.

My site is in Italian language (IT-IT) and i need to add a second language (EN-US).

After added the new language, i have for example http://localhost/IT-IT  as home page.

It's possible to have http://localhost for italian and http://localhost/EN-US for English language?

I have disable the Language parameter url checkbox but nothing is changed.

Thanks

Alessandro

Hi,

From dnn 7.1, dnn generates 1 portal alas for each language.

You CAN modify this aliases for Like you asked.
