Hello

The countries drop down in registration process shows United States has pre selected.

How can I change it so it does not shows any country pre selected?

thanks

Jose

Hi jose
If you are using a custom registration module and have access to code, then you can change it in the ascx page by removing the selected property in the item of dropdownlist.
If using dnn registration, then pls tell the version you are using as i checked it in dnn 7 with no issue.

Thanks,
Sunil Kumar [ DNN Developer, Mindfire Solutions,India ]

did you try providing a default in Profile Property setup (in Admin > SiteSettings)?
The setting used to provide a default based on IP address, but I haven't checked recently, whether this still works.

Hello

Thank you for your help.

It is happening in dnn registration in last DNN6 version and also in the DNN7.1 version. I did not define any default value in property site settings. And i am not in the US so if it was a ip detection it was not correct because i am in Europe.

Click register here to see if it appears to you too www.velvetbull.com

Best

Go to Admin > Site Settings, tab User Data and in 3rd section click edit for "Country" property. Provide your (English) country name as default and save.
