Hi,

Is it possible to add the DNN Web Controls to the Visual Studio toolbox to allow a more drag and drop approach?

yes - though in many cases it has little value as they are not enabled for design time experience (in fact in the case of telerik they are explicitly disabled) - you can add them by right clicking the toolbox and selecting the relevant assemblies

IMHO this would be a great feature to attract new developers to DNN.

Which assemblies should I be looking in, specifically where is the dnnGrid?

I don't mind that the properties are not accessible. It is just easier to drag and drop the controls to start with.

that would be DotNetNuke.WebControls.dll - however the dnngrid is just a wrapper around the telerik radgrid, so there will be no design time experience i.e. no smart tags etc.
