Have you add a new rule for the port into your Firewall?

Why did you not use the Standard port ?  Would it work with the Standard http port 80 ?

For some reasons, I don't use the standard port, I use the port 88. The solution is: Open table PortalAlias and add one row with HttpAllias is localhost:88, restart the iis, I restart window and It works.

Thanks for your solution.

Dotnetnuke is hard to config. Now, I have some other errors.

This is how you should config if you using an other Port as the Standard port 80 for http or 443 for https protocol.  http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/Page/...

I think this will also fix some of your other issues.  DNN is very simply to confing using the standard szenariouses.  If you need Special configuration you can run in some issues as you can on other applications.

Hello, I now have a another problem. This is overriding the Module in DesktopModules of DNN.

I develop the Module as a website project, and when I build/rebuild the project, the files/folder of the project can not override to /DesktopModules/

I set all permission for Network Services user, current user, administrator user,IIS AppPool\myPool user. I run Visual Studio in ' run as Administrator' mode. but nothing happened.

I uncheck ReadOnly mode of folder DesktopModules/Module but it doesn't work, when I reopen the properties of folder is still 'Read only mode'

And this is my code in Build Events of the project.

xcopy "$(ProjectDir)*.ascx" "$(SolutionDir)\Website\DesktopModules\ChatModule" /E /I /Y /D
xcopy "$(ProjectDir)*.aspx" "$(SolutionDir)\Website\DesktopModules\ChatModule" /E /I /Y /D
xcopy "$(ProjectDir)App_LocalResources\*.resx" "$(SolutionDir)\Website\DesktopModules\ChatModule\App_LocalResources" /E /I /Y /D
xcopy "$(ProjectDir)Style\*.*" "$(SolutionDir)\Website\DesktopModules\ChatModule\Style" /E /I /Y /D
xcopy "$(ProjectDir)Images\*.*" "$(SolutionDir)\Website\DesktopModules\ChatModule\Images" /E /I /Y /D
xcopy "$(ProjectDir)Scripts\*.*" "$(SolutionDir)\Website\DesktopModules\ChatModule\Scripts" /E /I /Y /D
xcopy "$(ProjectDir)*.css" "$(SolutionDir)\Website\DesktopModules\ChatModule" /E /I /Y /D
xcopy "$(ProjectDir)Services\*.*" "$(SolutionDir)\Website\DesktopModules\ChatModule\Services" /E /I /Y /D

But when I change the folder in code to somewhere like xcopy "$(ProjectDir)*.ascx" "C\websites\buildhere" /E /I /Y /D => it works.

Please give me some suggests. oh, it made me crazy....

Thanks very very much!

I wasn't Aware you are using the source on a local system.   All DNN Project templates are formed for a Standard install, which is not on your System.  It can be that you ahve to do some changes on the Project Settings.  As I am not a developer I think I can not be very helpfull on this but can try to find out your issue.  What operating System have you running an what SQL Server Version ?
