DNN 7.1 Comes with new jQuery and jQueryUI library, changes can be checked on jQuery http://jquery.com/upgrade-guide/1.9/ or on jQueryUI http://jqueryui.com/upgrade-guide/1.10/ site.

If on a skin or on a module jQuery or jQueryUI is used the JavaScripts have to be compatible with those Versions.  Some skins and modules loads it own jQuery librarys whitch is not best practice.  DNN comes with jQueryLibrarys and have methodes to load them on Skins and modules.  Also it is possible to load compatible hosted librarys.  The Settings can be found on host Settings.

About your issue also still can be an permission issue you should inherit all Settings to all Subfolders and files.  WP User must have full permissions, and the IUser need only read permissions.  Don't give full or write/Change/delete permissions to iUser by security reasens.

If a install failed you have to delete database and files, create it new and starting from scratch.  On upgrade you have to restore the database and files from previuos done backup and start your upgrade from scatch.

I forget, the database. If the database used the username as it Default db Schema, you have to use this Schema as your databaseOwner and Change the databaseOwner Setting on your web.config file.

As I know by default Plesk uses the username as the Default Schema on your database.

Thanks for everyones input so far.

Still struggling with this, but I have a little more information which may help towards the solution.  Using Goggle Chrome developer tools, console view - if I load the page there are no errors.   When I click add existing module I get the following errors:

XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://aspnet-skins.telerikstatic.com.... No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://myelectrical.com' is therefore not allowed access. (index):1
XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://aspnet-skins.telerikstatic.com.... No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://myelectrical.com' is therefore not allowed access. (index):1

Not sure if fixing this would solve the issue or not (but it need's fixing anyhow).    I typed in some of the error message and tried a few of the more obvious suggesting in the Internet, without success.

Any suggestions on how to deal with the above would be great.

Hi,

You can try to NOT use CDN for Telerik.

It's a checkbox in host settings.

Regards,
