Hello Everyone,

I recently just upgraded our DNN from 5.05.01 following the recommended upgrade path listed on this site( 5.05.01 -> 5.06.07 -> 6.01.03 -> 7.01.02).  I had 0 errors during the upgrade processes; however, after upgrading to 7.01.02 my login module appears to always be blank and I can't seem to find a solution for correcting this so I can log in and continue on with my development.

I visited the <yourwebsite>/Login.aspx and it's a blank page.  I clicked the link and at first it did nothing but take you to a blank page, I modified the column LoginTabId in the dbo.PortalLocalization table, setting it to NULL, and that made it so that when I clicked the login link it popped up the login box but it still displayed blank.  I also modified the login link code to set LegacyMode = false.  So far none of these solutions have worked.

Any other ideas?  I'm out of them.

In SQL look at the ModuleControls table.  Find a control with a ControlKey="Login" and a ControlTitle = "Account Login".  Set the ControlSrc = "DesktopModules/Admin/Authentication/Login.ascx"

That is my guess.

Hey Stuart,

Thanks for the response.  I checked the table today and it seems to already be set to that.

I then compared it to an empty, and fully functional, DNN7 table and it matched (besides modified dates of course).

I would suggest changing the skin then.  You will have to do it through the database.  I am not sure if it is in the Portals table, PortalSettings table or what.

Sadly the results were the same.

In the dbo.PortalSettings I replaced the DefaultAdminContainer, DefaultAdminSkin, DefaultPortalContainer and DefaultPortalSkin with that of the default DNN7 install skins, The gravity ones, and it still came back as an empty container with a new look and feel to the page. :(
