Hi

I had a failure while upgrading from 7.1.0 to 7.1.1 and eventually managed to restore the site by  over-writing the files with the backup. However, there were some issues, like being unable to add new pages, and I assumed that the upgrade had caused leftover files and the site was not restored properly. Reluctant to cause more problems to an active site I left it until today, when I decided to try upgrading to 7.1.2, hoping that would fix things.

The upgrade appeared to run successfully, but the database version showed as 7.1.1 at the start of the upgrade. I got the following errors during the process followed by a 500 - Internal server error when browsing to the site.

Once again I have restored from the earlier backup (7.1.0) and the site is live again. However, I get

A critical error has occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
When trying to add a new page. Not sure what to do now if I can't update? Please help!

it looks like your upgrade did not install properly latest version of telerik controls. Please browse to /install/install.aspx?mode=installresources in your website. If the page remains blank, the upgrade failed and you should restore latest backup from files and database.

Hi Sebastian

Thank you for your reply. I did as you suggested and got the following, which is similar to what I got during the upgrade.

The last backup I had was from 7.1.0. This is what I used to get the site back up and running, but with the errors in site settings and adding pages. How do I fix the resources updates?
