Hi,

I have been having an issue with the DDR menu whilst using a new Bootstrap 3 based skin in DNN 7.

My issue is that I can only output the 1st and 2nd level of the menu, any further levels/child pages are not showing at all.

At first I thought this might be a CSS issue but I had a look at the page source using Firebug and I see that the child sub-menu doesn’t exist in the list at all:

I therefore think this issue might have something to do with the XSL template I am using? (I am using the Bootstrap 3 template found here: http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/Page/...)

I notice at the bottom of this template it has a comment saying “no extra level in default bootstrap” which I think is where a submenu item would otherwise have been?

So my question is does anyone have any info on how to add extra child pages /sub-menu items in the DDR menu or assuming my fault finding above is correct how to add child sub-menus into this Bootstrap xsl template (I have been playing around for a few of hours now but im getting nowhere, would really appreciate any help)

Many Thanks in advance

James

it would appear to be the template (the xsl:when test="$level=0" bit is the top-level check and it only renders level+1 (which is the child menu item) - I don't have time to look into it further but you suggest you add a test for level 1 and render level 2 items (or ping Armand Datema/Nokiko on twitter as he contributed that item in the wiki and may be able to offer advice)

Hi

Bootstrap 3 by default does not have an option for n-levels sub menus.  Thats why I did not include it. I just checked and it looks like there is a solution  http://firdaus.grandexa.com/2013/09/twitter-bootstrap-3-multilevel-dropdown-menu/

you wold just need to add the xsl for the extra level and it shoudl work ( not tested, just googled )
