I have a website that is using version 07.01.01 (385) of DNN, I also have a Client management tool that I would like to place in a folder such as www.domain.com/clients. The problem is that the client management is a php webapp/site. I am getting a dnn driven 404 when I try and navigate to that location.

Essentially I want to find out if anyone has  ever used php in a subdirectory of their DNN site before and how to get this to work.

William,

I have never tried this, but theoretically it should be possible. Take care about the web.config-settings, because they will be inherited from the main site to the sub directory, and this can cause problems (even if your php application ignores the web.config file, IIS does not!). So you should use a lot of "clear"-statements in this file ;-)

Best wishes
Michael

Well, the other option you have is creating another web site in IIS (e.g. clients.mysite.com) and installing the PHP application there...

Best wishes

you should not place your php code inside a subdirectory, but map a virtual directory as a subdirectory and place your PHP application inside.
