Hello all.

We are using DNN 5.6.4 and are trying to install and apply a new skin. The skin was purchased from store.dnn.com and is called the Easy Web Skin 1140 Grid Responsive.

We were able to install it. It displays 15 possible skins from which to select on the Skins module of the admin menu. The below error is encountered regardless of which skin is elected.

Could Not Load Skin: /Portals/_default/skins/easyweb-steelblue/megamenu-home.ascx, Error: The file '/DesktopModules/DDRMenu/Menu.ascx' does not exist.

I have Googled a number of phrases and am at a loss as to what to try.

Does any have any insight?

I would check that the skin is compatible with your version of dnn
 - most of the responsive style skins are designed for dnn7x.

Having said that - I was pretty sure that DDRMenu became a core part of DNN from version 6
- which is pretty much what your error is reporting - that it is not installed.

You could try to manually install DDRMenu - it can be found at  http://dnnddrmenu.codeplex.com/ - it should at least install on your version of DNN.

That may be enough to get things running - HOWEVER - if the skin is dnn 6/7 specific - there is a good chance you may encounter other issues along the way.

Thanks for your reply.  The issue turned out to be an installation error. The skin is composed of two ZIP files, one of more than 39 MEG and the other for 10 MEG. I do not have a host ID so  I sent the skin download information to our host technician and they downloaded only the large file.  The Menu.ascx file was contained in the smaller ZIP.  Once the smaller file was uploaded and installed the problem was corrected.
