The problem is that the TimeZoneId on EventsRecurMaster is not set, and I'm not sure why not. I've just created a test event, and that is fine. I notice however that the module key 'TimeZoneId', which is required to enable to set the right timezone to new events, was created last night by userid 'hans'

What this suggests is that the module has been upgraded recently and for some reason the settings key was not set on upgrade, but that you updated the settings last night which set the key.

Does this seem likely?

I have set all EventTimeZoneKeys on eventsrecurmaster to 'Eastern Standard Time' which has fixed the problem.

I looked around last night and saw that the 'Primary Display Timezone' was set to User. I checked my profile and it was set to some weird timezone. Corrected that. No change in cancelled list. Changed 'Primary Display Timezone' to Module. Still no changed in the cancelled list. Those were the only changes i made and they did not appear to make a difference. Not sure if that is the setting you are referring to. If not, i don't know where the one you're referring to is. Don't know if there is a time delay before the setting change(s) i made have an effect. Now everything is fine. So thanks again for looking at it.
