- there shouldn't be multiple Versions of the same component - like Repository Dashboard.
- AFAIR Core Contacts has been sunsetted about 5 years ago, you should replace with FnL or an XMod solution.

The strange thing is, the Repository Dashboard also has two instances in my working 6.2.8 DNN webserver and the versions in both DNN servers the Repository Dashboard versions are the same.  I will delete one instance and see if that helps.

I will also delete the Contacts module.

I deleted the duplicate Repository Dashboard module, Contacts and a couple more unused modules.  Upgraded with the same results, so still looking for a direction to fix this.

You sure have a lot of very old module versions installed.

I would first uninstall any and all (except for system ones - most of which have a 1.0.0  version) that are NOT in use anywhere in the site (or sites if this installation has more than one portal). Since all assemblies in the /bin folder are loaded on start-up, the namespace conflict could be caused by a module that is installed but not in use anywhere in the site(s). Be sure that the assemblies (.dll files) actually get deleted from the /bin folder when the module is uninstalled.

I would be particularly suspicious of any dynamic module that has code in the App_Code folder as those are more prone to causing namespace ambiguity issues. Modules which extensively manipulate the file system are the most likely ones that might have defined a FileManager class.
