Hi all,

I just upgraded from  07.01.00 to 07.02.00 (607) and I have a serious problem where the site / admin settings does not show the page listing!

Not only this, in the menu when trying to add any page / module, the list of modules or pages do not appear.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is there a way by which I can migrate all the userbase from this existing DNN to a new DNN? If I migrate all the .UserXXX tables will the site work fine?

I also have other problems like the defacto email settings in the host settings do not work, so thats why i was thinking of doing a clean install.

Rgds,

Suman.

Suman,
please check versions of jQuery and jQuery UI - if you are using hosted version you need to upgrade the paths in Host Settings.

No you cant just migrate the tables - it is likely to break a number of different things throughout the system - you would be best to determine what is causing the issue.
As there is a good chance is some module or skin that you will try and use again that is already causing the issues.

Did you receive any errors messages during the upgrade?

At a guess - as is so often the case - its likely to be a skin issue - are you able to switch your pages to the default skin to test out if it works ok?
Also - check if your site is running hosted jquery and jquery ui or if its running cdn versions - its possible that the wrong version is being loaded - you may need to update the cdn paths to the latest / correct versions of jquery.

Sebastian, I will try tomorrow morning and let you know on the outcome.

Westa,
Did you receive any errors messages during the upgrade?
No, upgrade went super smooth.

t a guess - as is so often the case - its likely to be a skin issue - are you able to switch your pages to the default skin to test out if it works ok?
There has been no customization over the last 1 year, but no harm in trying it in UAT, what you said as I am facing the same problem there too.
Well update tomorrow again.

Rgds,
Suman.

Its more to do with the fact that older skins sometimes dont work correctly on newer versions of dnn.
