Is DNN_ActiveDirectoryAuthentication in use? Have you set that up? More info on the provider can be found on the codeplex site. http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com/documen....

Hi,

I still not clear where DNN get the logged user's profile. Can anyone help about this? I can't find out any LDAP setting in the system configure. DNN_ActiveDirectoryAuthentication  In Use indicator is blank, so where and how DNN get the current windows logged user's profile?

Thank you very much.

The profile is created using the defaults in DNN. Some of the information in the profile is obtained via LDAP and is refreshed with every login, including group membership.

Hi Dan,

Thank you very much. You said some of the information get via LDAP, does that mean some of information not get via LDAP? The information such as name, tel, fax, are these via LDAP or not? If it's via LDAP, where's the LDAP setting, I can't find out LDAP setting information, but DNN does get name, tel, fax. If it's not via LDAP, how DNN get these information?

I mean, the DNN site is windows authentication (intranet), when a new windows user open the site first time, DNN does get the user's name tel, fax, etc. If not via LDAP, how DNN get it, if via LDAP, where's the LDAP setting?

Thousands thanks.
