I've finally gotten this old system to upgrade from 4.4.1 to 5.6.8 without errors. It will not upgrade to 6.0.0. When the upgrade starts I get the following error in the logs with the message 'An error has occurred' on the screen. Any ideas on what I should be looking for?

Thanks in advance.

I looked in support.dnnsoftware.com but cant find any similar bugs i.e. ForceCrawlerDisplay causing String was not recognized as a valid Boolean -that said solpart is ancient and is deprecated, so it's possible that no one is using it under dnn6 - I'd recommend reading the section on upgrading a solpart menu (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/...) - also dnn6 has different prerequisites so please check you're running .net 3.5sp1 (or higher) and sql 2005 or higher

The Wiki notes worked great. It now upgrades to 6.0.0 and loads the main page. However, the main menu is missing all but the last 4 links entries.  I'm not familiar enough with the framework to know where to look to find this. Any suggestions?

Did you follow the suggested upgrade path (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/Page/...) -and did you check you meet the changing prerequisites? Note; ddrmenu is only available in 6.0 and above. Also, it may be an idea to try an upgrade to 6.0.1 as often a major branch change has some teething issues and they are typically resolved in the next release i.e. 6.0.1

Thanks again Cathan. Everything worked great until that final step. So close... On the upgrade to 7.1.2 there seems to be a problem with a sql script:

Ambiguous column name 'ModuleID' in what appears to be a stored procedure GetRecycleModules. Any suggestions?

Thanks
