Hi All,

     Can any one give me example of manifest file fro DNN 6.2.5.

Actually i am getting error whenever i am trying to keep a file in folder like 

 

 <file>
          <path>App_LocalResources</path>
          <name>USERNAMEFORMAT.ascx.resx</name>
        </file> 

or 

<file>
          <path>bin</path>
    <name>ModuleName1.dll</name>
</file>

Can any one tell me why it is throwing error in new DNN version when i am using path in manifest file.

What is the error?

Another option is to use a Resource file that you can include all of your UI, scripts and language files in.  That way you don't need to specify the path for every file in your DNN Manifest. 

Here is an example taken from the SigmaLive install...

<component type="ResourceFile">
  <resourceFiles>
    <basePath>DesktopModules/OnyakTech.SigmaLive.PopUp</basePath>
       <resourceFile>
       <name>resources.zip</name>
       </resourceFile>
  </resourceFiles>
</component>

Add that right before 

<component type="Module">

you're probably just missing a basepath field e.g.

<files>

<basePath>DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/Facebook</basePath>

<file>

<path>App_LocalResources</path>

<name>Login.ascx.resx</name>

</file>
