Hello Friends,

DNN provide functionality to update any local resource  file according to DesktopModuls.
Like after login --> Admin --> Languages --> System(Column) --> Edit --> Select any specific Desktop module--> Select Local Resource file.

So I have query if we change any value for any key then its immediate display on particular control? Or first we need to build the web site
then after change will apply.

Please let me know how this flow is working.

Thanks & Regards
Jignesh Patel

it will change straightaway as the existing resource text cache is expired - if you find it doesn't then you can use tools->recycle application domain (and please log it as an issue)

dnn does not use ASP.NET localization, resource files are not compiled into .dll files.

you're probably changing the wrong key - the same/similar text may be used in multiple places and may have separate keys (e.g. different login controls will often have a key with a value of "Login" - these have to be separate just in case a future control requires a different term). What text are you trying to change?
