​Hi,

I;m using Windows 8.1 64 bit and trying to install the latest DNN.

I used the link on the downloads page that downloaded the web platform installer 4.6.  During the installation process it asks for the sa password to .\SQLExpress.  I do not have such an instance on my PC, however I have a few others.  I can't get past this as I keep being told:

"The specified password for user account 'sa' is not valid, or failed to connect to the database server."

Is there some way to change what database server the installer is trying to use?

Thanks.  The security is all set up properly (mixed mode and I have verified the password is correct by logging in).  My problem is that the database server that the installation is looking for is not the one I want to install on.  I want it to use SQL Server 2012 which is called MyPC\SQL2012, not MyPC\SQLExpress.

From a couple posts I've found here it seems I may have to do a manual install rather than using the Web Platform Installer.
